Welcome and thank you for your interest in joining “Hip Hop Celebrates Non Violence "Solving Poverty" Tour 2008.
Artist(s) looking to be considered for this tour must pay out $55.00 for the attached fee based application below
payable through Paypal. The breakdown of fees paid are as follows" Ten percent of the funds raised from this
application will be donated to “Solving Poverty” a non-profit charitable organization to help their fight in taking illegal
guns off our streets, in order to save a life. Please take a moment to check out www.solvingpoverty.com The remainder
of the proceeds will go towards funding this tour to help cover various tour expenses and application review (see
expenses in the tour proposal). Application fees paid, are not a guarantee of your selection. This tour will give an
opportunity to many very talented artists as we will continue to select various artists from across the country to join
us on this tour. The review process are as follows: For an artist to be able to participate in the selection process, 1.)
artist(s) must submit an audition in DVD format with no violence or derogatory language; 2.) artist(s) must submit a bio
and a writing sample. You must also show that you have solid writing and performance skills.
AMarriage Entertainment, LLC will produce/co-produce a compilation CD that will feature approximately ten (10) artists,
five (5) high profile and five (5) underground artists for this project. Each unsigned artist will be selected by a diverse
staff to perform two selected tracks on the CD with various high profile hip/hop & R&B artists. This CD will be the
very first of its kind and will boast true talent from two genres of music. A total of 20 songs from ten (10) selected
artists, 2 songs per artist. This CD will be sold at $20.00 per CD, for fund-raising purposes with 15% of all CD sales
proceeds going towards Habitat for Humanity and 15% towards the Gulf Coast Civic Works Project (GCCWP) to help
rebuild affordable housing for low income families in the Gulf Coast. All other proceeds will go towards production cost.
